The music producer and DJ’s fascination with machines and making new sounds encouraged him to spend many years deeply exploring the nether regions of all types of sound gear, to understand all of their capabilities and limitations. The more machines he had, the more complex making music became.

Intuitive and knowledgeable, the ambitious emerging producer draws his inspiration from artists like Matt Sassari and Gorgon City. Austin X Machine strives to create detailed and creative productions that span multiple genres. With an ability to create a palette of experimental textures, and with a lightness and darkness filtering through this music, his distinctive releases bring a refreshing atmosphere to the dancefloor.

Austin X Machine has brought his sound to a variety of outlets around the globe. With mix work for the legendary club Pikes in Ibiza, Ministry of Sound London, and more, he enjoys playing anything from wonky Detroit style techno through to progressive house. Live sessions at Park Social monthly in Melbourne also highlights Austin X Machine's instinct for deep house cuts and B side delights.
The Melbourne DJ and producer has also released a number of tracks and remixes on House of Now (London), Mono Maison, Carbon Movement and his own label Trunky Tracks. In the last year he's had two tracks in KISS FM's Top 10, with 'Poultry' and 'A.I.' and support from Sister Bliss on Radio 1, Benny Bennassi's playlists and Czech Republic's no.1 DJ Ondray.
